GERMAN EBONITE
This high quality material is imported from Germany. Used in high-end items such as mouthpieces of musical instruments, knife handles and smoking pipes, ebonite is also used by some of the worlds most luxurious pen manufactures. Ebonite is a hard form of rubber also known as vulcanite. It machines very well leaving ribbons while turning. It will heat up quickly, so like most other materials, use sharp tools for best results. Blanks come pre-rounded at 20mm which is slightly larger than 3/4". Most any kit pen can be made with this size blank.
